For the first time ever, the AMA Pro Flat Track Rookie Class of ’79 and Friends will be hosting a charity golf outing over Labor Day weekend. The Scotty Parker Invitational will be held on Friday, September 4th, at The Rail in Springfield. Sign-in begins at 830 AM with the first tee time at 900 AM.
Current and former Grand National Championship riders scheduled to play are Scott Parker, Jared Mees, Chris Carr, Shaun Russell, Bubba Shobert, Ronnie Jones, Brandon Robinson, Henry Wiles, Robert Pearson, Kevin Atherton, Charlie Roberts, Jackie Mitchell, Cory Texter, Tommy Duma, Joe Kopp, Andrew Luker, Johnny Lewis, Jacob Shoemaker and more!
For a donation of $100, fans will get to play 18 rounds of golf, provided a golf cart, beverages during the outing, souvenir t-shirt, and dinner w/2 drinks at the After Party at Boones Saloon. Fans who would like to be on Jared Mees’ team are able to bid for the spot on www.biddingowl.com . The lucky winner will be playing in a Mees Team shirt that they’ll get to keep.
Following the event, an After Party will be held at Boones Saloon downtown Springfield. The street will be blocked off where there will be vendors, meet/greet/autograph session with several of the stars of AMA Pro Flat Track, and Beau Braswell will be on stage as well.
