Dr.Ulrich Eichhorn , the executive from Bentley has stated that Bentley has plans to come with a new two door variant car the 2011 Mulsanne sedan. The company is looking at the possibility of producing a coupe variant also. The executive at Bentley has stated that the company has such ambitious plans for the new Bentley that it will set a benchmark for other automotive companies. He claims to have produced the car of the highest possible quality.
The power in the new edition car would be equipped with a twin turbocharged 6.75 liter V8 engine which would generate 505 horsepower and 752 pound feet of torque. The powertrain would be similar to that of the Mulsanne.
This new 2011 Bentley would offer a tough competition to the Rolls Royce Phantom and Dropheads. Rolls Royce has also decided to launch the new 2010 Ghost sedan to maintain their space in the automotive market.
